Networks and WWW
What is a Network?
A network is a group or system of interconnected people or things via computers or other devices.
There are 3 types of networks:
LAN/ Local Area Networks: it spans a small area, like a single room or buildings. It is connected between other LAN networks via telephone lines and radio waves.
MAN/ Metropolitan Area Network: it is formed by multiple LANs connected between them, but it is more efficient and faster because it has a wide range of span that can cover a city or campus.
WAN/ Wide Area Networks: it is a large-scale geographic area connected with multiple LANs and MANs, it can connect more tha one at a time.
World Wide Web (WWW)
The WWW is a online network that is formatted in HTML and its is accessed by HTTP, it was designed by Tim Bernes-Lee and it is more known as the Web or only Internet.
