Information and Communication Technologies

ICT, or information and communications technology (or technologies), is the infrastructure and components that enable modern computing.

Although there is no single, universal definition of ICT, the term is generally accepted to mean all devices, networking components, applications and systems that combined allow people and organizations (i.e., businesses, nonprofit agencies, governments and criminal enterprises) to interact in the digital world.

The first areas where a ICT can be used is in school. ICTs are everywhere in the place. Some examples are:

• Computers of the computer center next to the library. 
• Projector is in the place of communication because they project rays of light onto the screen. 
• iPads its both communication and information because it is a tool to make the jobs easier.

The second Area where a ICT can be used is a business building.                                                           Some examples are:

• Printers: they print information for communication in meetings and final works.
• Laptops: they search information for sources and it can entertain you in some ways.
• Tv Screen, they show information to be more visible for people farther away in the room.

The third Area where a ICT can be used is in a hospital.                                                                Some examples are:

• Heart rate meter: it shows the different levels of heart rate for a patient.
• Body scanners: it allow doctors to find and treat conditions such as tumours in their early stages when the chances of treating them successfully are much greater.
• Patients recording: is a computerised databases are used by every hospital in the country to store information about patients.

The fourth Area where a ICT can be used is in agriculture.                                                                 Some examples are: 

• Geographic systems: to locate and search for terrain. 
• Computer-controlled devices: they control machines automatically.
• Walkie-talkies: they are used to communicate by radio in a closed channel.

In conclusions, ITCs are important because it is what we use everywhere everyday for daily activities. They help us to be more efficient and easy the hard things in life. We investigate it to know that communication and information it’s also a technology to talk about a topic.

My conclusion: 

We knew that ICTs are important because it is what we use everywhere everyday for daily activities. They help us to be more efficient and easy the hard things in life. We investigate it to know that communication and information it’s also a technology to talk about a theme.

Internet and Cloud Services

What is Internet?
Internet it’s a globally connected network system that uses a protocol to transmit data via various types of media. Also, it refers to the global communication system, including hardware and infrastructure, while the web is one of the services communicated over the internet.

What is a Browser?
It’s a software program that allows a user to locate access and display websites, as well as other content created using languages such as HTML and XML.
Examples: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Edge.

What is a Search Engine?
 It is a program that searches for and identifies items in a database that correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used especially for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web.
Examples: Google, Yahoo, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yandex.

What is a Cloud Service?
A cloud service is any service made available to users on demand via the Internet from a cloud computing provider's servers as opposed to being provided from a company's own on-premises servers. Cloud services are designed to provide easy, scalable access to applications, resources and services, and are fully managed by a cloud services provider.
Examples: ICloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, FilesAnywhere, Box.net.

I like it because it is everyday life comedy and makes you laugh and love the characters.

Networks and WWW

What is a Network?

A network is a group or system of interconnected people or things via computers or other devices.

There are 3 types of networks:

LAN/ Local Area Networks: it spans a small area, like a single room or buildings. It is connected between other LAN networks via telephone lines and radio waves.

MAN/ Metropolitan Area Network: it is formed by multiple LANs connected between them, but it is more efficient and faster because it has a wide range of span that can cover a city or campus.

WAN/ Wide Area Networks: it is a large-scale geographic area connected with multiple LANs and MANs, it can connect more tha one at a time.

World Wide Web (WWW)

The WWW is a online network that is formatted in HTML and its is accessed by HTTP, it was designed by Tim Bernes-Lee and it is more known as the Web or only Internet.

Information and Communication Technology 

What are Information and Communication technology?

Well it’s a simple answer for both. First of all we need to know the meaning of technology; The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry. Then we need to know how to apply this meaning into information and communication. 

When we think of technology we sually think about cellphones or other electronic devices, and yes, they are technology, so communication its more efficient by the use of technology. 

Now, information can be found everywhere, but that most easy and fastest way to get information is through internet.

In which areas do people use it? 

People always going to improve technology for everyday life, so its more easy to carry technology everywhere in this time. For example; communication, it’s on phones, radio, walkie-talkies, or even in the school ring, the main idea of this is to send messages in different media. And information can be found on internet and book.

Do I use it? How? Where? 

It is very obvious that I do use it, if not, how would I do to write this blog?

I use technology everyday especially communication one. In social media and tools for school.
